(Source) At the end of a Black and White 2 trailer in Japan (yes they're still airing), there was a teaser for something to be announced on the 8th of January (the 7th in the US).

Gamefreak director Junichi Masuda revealed on his Twitter in December that he had just filmed an episode of Pokemon Smash, and since the episodes are recorded a month or so in advance, it’s likely the episode he taped will air in January. Masuda usually appears on Pokemon Smash to make game announcements.

Let's hope for Generation 3 remakes or Generation 6 on the 3DS!!!

They did make that announcement about the Pokemon world evolving next year. I kind of hope It's not the same old stuff we have been given over and over.

Gen 3 remakes are inevitable, Pokemon is a cash cow.

I see this being the rumored 3DS Pokemon game which is suppose to be more dark and realistic. Hopefully the rumors are true, I want a break from remakes for now.

Hope it's Gen 6 for the 3DS. I want R/S/E remakes as much as anyone else, but I'd prefer to see something properly new first. With a new gen and new hardware it leaves a lot for Gamefreak to experiment with.

Now that I think of it, I'd like that RSE remakes were either for 3DS or that they're made later. I don't want the remakes to be the last games on DS, that would leave them far worse than next games so they'd feel like they need another remake... If I even made sense.

Its actually the only game Ive ever 100% the pokedex on (technically I didnt but thats cuz my game is a jerk and wont let me trade over the last 2 Pokemon )

But I love 3rd gen and I love my Blaziken but I dont want the 3D models to launch with a remake....

In a perfect world it would be a Pokemon game based in the Kanto region with 1st gen Pokemon (but not a remake) I want a Pokemon game in the Kanto region of what its like today.
