I'm...seriously thinking about getting the download version. I have the physical version paid off at Gamestop, but not only is the download version $10 cheaper, but I already have $13 in the eshop so it's at least twenty bucks cheaper than getting the physical version.
The figurine looks awesome, but the option of playing Wind Waker without the worry of wearing down my disc drive really has me interested. So I'll possibly be playing the game sooner than October 4th.
EDIT: With two $20 prepaid eshop cards, I'm now downloading Wind Waker HD. Just 19 more minutes to go!

Jennifer is a very young girl that is nearly blind. While she had a great interest in joining her family while they played video games, her vision issues held her back. She has to sit very, very close to the screen to see what's going on. Even when doing that, it was still hard for her to see and she would end up blocking the TV view for others.
That has all changed now, thanks to New Super Luigi U and the Wii U. Now Jennifer can play via GamePad and keep the image very close to her eyes. On top of that, Nabbit is impervious to most damage (minus falls), so Jennifer can play along and keep in the action alongside her family.
You know, I've had a pretty crappy day today, and reading things like this makes my day brighter.

I like it. I have to say it wasn't what I expected to see in a 3D Mario game, but I'm liking the idea of playing as Peach in a Mario platformer (I'm not counting SPP since Mario wasn't playable in it) for the first time since SMB2.
There were a lot of games I saw that I want to get for the Wii U in the future.

- New Arm Device is called the "Algorythm", able to analyze the brain-waves and heart-beat of Pokemon in order to better understand them. Can "translate" Pokemon's feelings, showing you their current mood, items they want, and happiness.
I look forward to gym leaders kicking you out of their gyms because your Pokemon aren't "happy enough yet".

The game will be released in Summer 2013.

There is also a later post that says the game will come to modern Nintendo consoles, so expect the game on the Wii U eshop, 3DS eshop, and maybe Wiiware.

Deus Ex will support off-TV play.
First off, and perhaps most importantly, Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Dircetor's Cut will support off-TV play using the Wii U Gamepad. The Gamepad will also allow you to record your own "infologs" containing screenshots, voice recordings, drawings and notes as you play the game. You'll be able to share these infologs with other Wii U owners using Nintendo's Miiverse social network.
