#131322 Do you get swayed by negative reviews?

Posted by coolsarahkry on 17 November 2012 - 06:36 AM

I create my own opininion, I'm never swayed by reviews, places like IGN are so brought out there is no way that decent games get low scores and crap games like CoD get almost perfect scores without somthing going on, the only reviewer on IGN I trust is Audry Drake and her reviews for Pokemon as she is a long time fan.

I agree, Audrey Drake is the reviewer I most trust. She likes most of the games I do, too.

#113621 Retailers will sell Pre-Paid game cards for the eShop

Posted by coolsarahkry on 29 September 2012 - 07:31 AM

YEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!! I am overjoyed! this is great news! Now I can purchase them myself without bothering my parents for the credit card info!

I can also ask for them for Christmas and birthdays! And it's for wii u too? Sweet. Now I can finally download nintendo games easily.

Just wondering, is there certain stuff you can only buy using a credit card? Also, you have to pay tax, right?

#113255 Kirby Wii U ideas

Posted by coolsarahkry on 27 September 2012 - 03:40 PM

This isn't even speculation, it's just me thinking about Kirby.

I really like Kirby: Canvas Curse and I think it would be really cool if they brought it to the wii U, in the form of a sequel. The first player would use the touch screen on the gamepad. Maybe they could have a co-op mode.

However, I don't think nintendo has ever made a sequel to any of the "quirky" kirby games that do not follow normal gameplay. (I haven't researched this)

Nintendo should, of course, bring a classic kirby game to wii u. I would enjoy a single player or co-op adventure, for this.

Although I would love a sequel to Kirby's Epic Yarn (I haven't played it, but I'm asking for it for Christmas), I don't think that's something nintendo would do. Sometimes you just have those one of a kind games...(like Mario Sunshine) Speaking of of one of a kind games, they should create another amazing, completely new one for wii U!

#111797 What type of Gamer do you consider yourself to be?

Posted by coolsarahkry on 23 September 2012 - 04:06 AM

I picked Hardcore, but not because I like those types of games in the Hardcore choice that you put up there. I chose it because almost all of my free time goes to gaming.

Since when have genres gotten into the mix of whether a gamer is Casual, Core or Hardcore. If you spend most of your time playing video games then you are hardcore, it doesn't matter whether there is blood in a game or if you placing down blocks on a screen. Why do companies do this now and people do this now? If any genre is supposed to be "Hardcore" I'd say it is RPGs, not shooting games with blood and gore. I say that because it takes plenty of time and dedication just to beat an RPG rather than running through an FPS in three hours. I just don't get it. It bugs me.

Yes. This is why I chose hardcore. I can spend days play pokemon, paper mario, pikmin...it's not about what game you play, but how long you play it.

#110674 I just can't support most of the launch titles...

Posted by coolsarahkry on 20 September 2012 - 04:04 PM

I just wish Pikmin 3 were a launch title. I can only get one game on launch day, and for now it's going to be Scribblenauts Unlimited (and nintendo land), but if I could get Pikmin 3 there would be no question that would be the game I would buy.

#109731 Analyst thinks Nintendo will sell 10 million Wii U's in it's first 14...

Posted by coolsarahkry on 18 September 2012 - 04:02 PM

all i want is for the supply to meet demand, what a shame it would be if there was more than 10 million demand but they couldn't make enough in time

yes

Here's a bigger version: Posted Image
It is messy, but I like the detail of it. It's good. Also, see that screen with a hand on top of the gamepad? He looks like the tutorial guy. I don't like his bowtie and his floating hat, though.

#107497 IMPORTANT: IF YOU ARE GOING TO PRE-ORDER THE PREMIUM EDITION

Now, I am not sure if this has already been confirmed or not, but now it definitetly has. Nintendo confirmed video chat on their website: http://www.nintendo.com/wiiu it's at the bottom.

Here's a copy paste:

Wii U Features

In addition to introducing new ways to play, Wii U also offers users a variety of non-gaming features to enhance the overall experience.
  • Miiverse: Miiverse is a brand-new network communication system that lets gamers from around the world share experiences, discuss games and discover new content. Using their personalized Mii character, players enter Miiverse and see games, applications or entertainment content that either they have interacted with recently, expressed interest in learning more about or that their friends are using or discussing. From here they can challenge their friends to play together, ask a question about a difficult level or discover new elements of their favorite games they never knew existed. After a notable achievement or other share-worthy moment, players can pause their game or application and seamlessly post messages to the Miiverse community.
  • TV Remote: The Wii U GamePad controller may also function as an infrared TV remote, whether users are watching TV or playing a game.
  • Near Field Communication (NFC): The Wii U GamePad has the ability to communicate wirelessly with objects that are held above it. This allows for a variety of interesting new possibilities for games and activities.
  • Nintendo eShop: The digital storefront for Wii U will be available at launch and offer a variety of content for people to download and enjoy. Consumers will also be able to purchase and download select games that are also available at retail stores.
  • Video Entertainment: Nintendo is working with Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, and YouTube to bring video experiences to Wii U that will take advantage of the integrated second-screen experience. Additional details will be released at a later time.
  • Video Chat: Using the built-in camera of the Wii U GamePad, people can communicate with other Wii U owners in real time.
  • Internet Browser: Wii U comes with a browser that lets people with a wireless Internet connection surf the Internet from the comfort of their couches.
It also seems like you can pause the game at any time to add a message to miiverse.

#102712 Multiplayer Idea for 3D mario

Posted by coolsarahkry on 28 August 2012 - 07:47 AM

I like the idea of a co-op mode. If you guys have played little big planet you may remember the 2 player areas where you could get extra stuff. They could have something like that except it could be more hidden. Like, a hidden entrance like you have to jump off a tree and wall jump into a special red pipe. Once you enter the new area you would have to work together to get past obstacles. Or it could be a race like somebody said.

#102353 2013 3d mario game

Posted by coolsarahkry on 26 August 2012 - 12:27 PM

something like sunshine, with a big overworld. Not on a ship or boat like galaxy. I'm not sure what else I want. We should have to collect stars at the end of each level. Make them pointy, not rounded like in galaxy.

Hello, it's me, coolsarahkry! I am new to the forums, obviously! I found this website when I was searching for some E3 stuff to watch about the wii U. I am most interested in Pikmin 3 for Wii U. I am also looking forward to Paper Mario:Sticker Star and New super mario bros 2 for 3ds. I am also getting Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, which I'm happy to say is coming out very soon. I am also hoping for a Super Mario Sunshine remake or a sequel for the wii U.

I love to draw! Here is my gallery! http://cameronfedora...lery/?catpath=/
