#181161 The Mighty Have Fallen

Posted by Noonabites on 10 March 2013 - 03:06 AM

Name: Rayden Beyade

Age: 8, 22, or 65

Gender: Debatable by Furme

Description: Wide striking blue eyes, creamy pale skin, medium flowing white hair laying close to the jaw, and armor comprised of a chest plate midriff and 1 bandaid. Cup size +1

Brief History: Born a cleric of sorts... Named after the honorary ritual, Beyblade, a circular break dance that takes place at the dawn of death of every fallen hero (mainly comprised of pigeons), so they may guide the kawaii of truth back to The Wrath. Beyade is only a companion. Often changing thoughts based off what's right, despite how conflicting those thoughts may be. Always believing the truth, but still a follower, never a leader.. but a loyal follower indeed. Whether Beyade is following the correct truth is the question.. always thinking in circles.

Weapons / Equipments: Circle of Truth (Healing ability, Not to be confused with the Circle of Life), It Won't Move You, Aparently Charming Eyes, Death Laser Pink Beam of Magical Kawaii (Doesn't actually kill), Glowing Turquoise Hair Bow, Pigeon Feeder

---

"THE SIN OF TIME ETERNAL
I WILL CAST THEM AWAY"

Rayden yells... furiously over and over again... spiraling gently on top of the lake... his/her voice sending vibrations to the water beneath... blue glowing streams of light  surrounding him.. or her.. The lights disappearing into the surrounding trees..

"THE SIN OF TIME ETERNAL
I WILL CAST THEM AWAY"

He/She yells for a final time... finally halting to a stop... Sitting on his/her knees... Rayden looks upward to the sky.. her/his heart calling out as harshly as her ritual praise for someone he/she could look up to... like the sky...

Her/his thoughts her quickly interrupted by the sound of a wolf howl in the distance.. She/He stands up and proceeds to drop into the lake.. you can't stand on lakes..

This might've been more appropriate for discussion... as there's something to be discussed. This topic seems a bit insulting... "Look, those guys were acting so gay, lolol" even though that might not be the intention. Be mindful next time, please?

#176395 Reasons why this forum is imploding

The only problem I've seen are with users who think it makes them special because they use it.

Excessive trolling, personal harassment, spam, and thread spam are all issues from chat.

So, even the chat regulars think the chat needs to be uninstalled?
Or am I misunderstanding?

Chat, while it allowed several members to hold greater discussion and get to know each other better, has been the source for a number of issues on here. It needs to be greatly revised (up the post count that allows usage, create rules, etc.), or, in my opinion, eliminated if issues aren't resolved.

I get the feeling I'm not the best judge of character for this situation, but as advice for forums members, when members involved in incidents are ignoring the issue, please don't draw attention to it either. Often in chat, when members try to draw away from issues to talk about something else, it's always brought back up, even against the the request of the involved.

This goes back to what was said of how we should just notify the mods promptly and ignore the trolls. The end.

Wii = We
In case of the Wii, it emphasized on social interactivity.

U = You
Emphasizing solo player activity.

Wii U = Emphasis on both aspects while retaining a successor name to their best selling console.

#174372 Official Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Discussion

A block of text was here.

When a game fails to make the player make sense of it's controls through a tutorial or through actual gameplay, that is the fault of the game. Just because the mass has gotten used a flaw doesn't mean it's not a flaw anymore... it just means the mass has looked past it. For the demo, the first look into a game new players have hands on, to ignore a newer audience base.. that's awful.

That being said, that was his opinion based off the demo as a new player being introduced to a game without guidance, giving advice to other players who may have an issue with this.  New players shouldn't have to go on a Wikipedia to learn to play the game. You're speaking through the lenses of elitism.

#173153 The Harlem Shake

Posted by Noonabites on 19 February 2013 - 02:58 PM

(Video 1) Song where the sound clip came from.

(Video 1, Video 2) It started with one of these two videos. It should be noted that "Harlem Shake" is the name of the meme. The actual dance involves the jerking and pivoting of the shoulders.

(Video 1, Video 2) These are example of the actual Harlem Shake. If anyone knows KPOP, Ye Eun of the Wonder Girls did the Harlem Shake during her small dance solo in Like This.

Hope this clears up everything. I remember in Junior High, there would be crowded circles where in the middle, some of the students would dance. It was often freestyling with tutting and the Harlem Shake. It's a shame to see it overshadowed and misrepresented. :[

#166019 Theory of Evolution: Are you a believer or not?

Posted by Noonabites on 02 February 2013 - 04:21 PM

So... we've gone to discussion (debating is a form of discussion by the way).. to being called out for having discussion? Maturity is discussion, not dropping it because you feel intimidated. We did nothing to insult you or divulge into anything that can be deemed immature. I'm sorry if I offended you, honestly. Like I stated, we were replying to statements you wrote. If you wish for those statements not to be responded to, take them down.

#166004 Theory of Evolution: Are you a believer or not?

Sensible.

The purpose of this thread has been derailed since the first page, I'm not going to argue further.

Those are welcomed to contribute though! Strictly opinion of course.

I'm not trying to do that, but if took a look at your first post in the thread, you'd see that you were the one who was trying to "ignite" the flame.

Evolution is a scientific fact with proof and evidence. You either accept it or you deny it.on

Except we're commenting on things you stated in your first post... Unless you want to edit it to fit your liking? To avoid this happening?
