people comparing the WiiU to the X360 & PS3 are idiots. 

a few positive comments

what i was getting at is the principal of the WiiU & what Nintendo said about it, they had issues with the 3DS & they did not learn from this in regards to the WiiU, they must of known they were having problems with the HD when they started making the games, as for it being a big jump, come on everyone says that Nintendo boffins are the best in the business, yet other third party devs & not had problems making HD games for the 360, PS3 & even arguably much more detailed & higher resolution games for the PC, this issue is one reason why the games have been delayed & instead of looking at it as "awww Nintendo will get it right in the end" that is not the point, in a way it is like a car being sold without a engine, & the manufacturer saying "oh we haven't got used to building engines yet, but we will get there", tis games that sell consoles, i spent £300 on a WiiU & i want some games to play on it, is that a wrong thing to ask, i don't think it is.

yes i admit as i did in the OP but 99% of the time i have backed myself up, i haven't trolled anywhere, but i'm not going to sit back & stay silent when everyone is saying that everything is rosy in WiiU land, i'm just looking at the bigger picture, i am lucky, i can afford to buy a WiiU & even if i have no games to play on it i can get over it, i have the money to buy a X1 & PS4 at launch if i want (i'm not going to) but as i said it's about the principal & Nintendo have wronged us all, its no good feeling disappointed & then spouting off to others that it will be ok, thats just being hypocritical, what will happen if the games don't turn the WiiU around this xmas ? sometimes you have to know when to call it a day, the WiiU as a console will be finished if all we get is a couple of Nintendo first party games a year, the trust will of evaporated, it already has for me in regards to Nintendo, i won't be buying a Nintendo console again at launch & many others will do the same & that will hurt Nintendo as the next console will have a even smaller user base.

also someone posted a list of games, which as i said in the OP is pointless, i could post a list of the same number of games for the X1 & PS4, i want proper full retail games, small time indie games that you get on Live, PSN, eShop are not really valid, other than things like Trine 2 for example, many of the games are games that are on other systems that do not cost £300 & many indie games are available for Droids & ios, i am not talking about just exclusives either, games like Zelda, Mario are not enough anymore to sustain the Nintendo console, mock FIFA & CoD all you like, but they are updated sequels just like every Mario & Zelda game.

i have since reconsidered & because i received a discount code, have now ordered, Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2 & also 101 (don't bother saying i have pre-ordered & then cancelled etc, because i have the proof to back up what i have said).

people need to back their posts up, no good saying the WiiU is rubbish & neither no good saying the WiiU is fantastic & as far as i am concerned Nintendo & the WiiU have a hell of a job putting what they have done right, even now i don't think they can do it, the release of the PS4 & X1 are going to have a huge impact on the WiiU, it makes no difference that the install base will be small to start off with, all consoles have this issue but the WiiU has continued this issue, the third parties won't abandon the X1 & PS4 because they know they will have the games coming that people want to play, yes thats GTA, CoD & FIFA, MS & Sony have signed up the major third party dev's & pub's, something Nintendo fails to do every single time, & one day this issue will bite them on the ass.

I got a WiiU premium at launch (im in the UK) i got NSMBU, ZombiU, NintendoLand & Sports Connection, i had Sports on a offer where i could get a full refund within seven days if i didn't like/want it, i took it back before the seven days were up, i traded NintendoLand in around xmas, since then i have got Black Ops 2 & NFS-MW U & Luigi U, as full games, i have also got Trine 2, however i cancelled all my WiiU games i had on order, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101 & Bayonetta 2.

I regret buying a WiiU now because it is just gathering dust, i have a Gaming PC, X360 & PS3, i also have a 3DS.

Developers & Publishers are deserting the WiiU, Nintendo have said they had problems with the transition to HD gaming, i find this shocking really coming from a huge gaming company like Nintendo, they cannot get to grips with their own hardware ?

I think that the power of the X1 & PS4 will just swamp the WiiU when they are launched, the WiiU's games are simply too few & far between, then there is the power & RAM issues & also the issues with developing for the WiiU with it's CPUGPU, eDRAM, small RAM & limited storage (dev's have no idea how much HD space owners have, some may not have any other than the internal, which is tiny).

I just don't buy this, the WiiU will be fine once "these" games come out, if people haven't already got a WiiU, i cannot see them buying one now especially when the PS4 is only £50 more than a WiiU (RRP), if i didn't have a WiiU already i wouldn't buy one now.

I have had most of the Nintendo consoles, NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii & WiiU, but i think the WiiU will be my last, Nintendo learnt nothing from the 3DS launch, they also said that there would be lots of third party support because they knew the problems they had in the past, yet the support is the worst of any console ever, people keep on about the indie games, but i haven't spent £300 to play some indie game that i could of played on the X360 or PS3 via the online stores they have, or even my PC, you have had Nintendo coming out, well one of the main guys saying that the Youtube feature is very good but nobody is using it, why would they though when they have PC's & Phones to watch YT on, the playing the full game on the gamepad is also pretty pointless in my view, i would think that 90% of people play games on a separate TV to their main one.

I know i have upset & riled a few on here with my negative views, & i apologize but i am looking at the state of the WiiU with more or a realistic view, what if sales don't pick up & the WiiU fails this xmas ?

So i am asking for some positivity, because i know i am not the only one who is disappointed & has expensive device gathering dust.

So here is your chance to help us disappointed WiiU owners, just one thing though, don't just put a list of games because that doesn't add anything, at least comment about the games in some way, also the hardware.

cant exactly   compare it to the PS4 or Xbox 1 since they are not even out. And most the games they showed  did not accually run on the systems. And sony also has a tendency to lie though their teeth about specs while also showing exaggerated demos  that turn  out that games never have that quality or  do at the end of their life.

true but the WiiU hasn't delivered either & it's been out nearly a year now (9 months to be exact) & it's dead, nobody's buying the WiiU & theres no games to play on it, Mario Kart isn't a system seller, neither is Pikmin 3, 101 looks ok but it's a new IP & could well be rubbish, it's not exactly groundbreaking.

Its really really really simple.

We already know ps4 xbone are more powerful than wii u.

You compare it to ps360 because then you can directly show its beyond ps360, because people like you constantly try this tired old garbage 'it can run on 360' or 'herp a derp its teh cartoony dat mens it no take any power and would look the same on ps360!'

Well thats obviously wrong. Biggest amatuer mistake is thinking cartoony graphics require less power simply because they are cartoony. There is more polygons in mku's trees than that entire modnation screen.

And no, ps360 couldnt hope to run w101 without severe compromises, there is also simply way too much going on.

In short people who constantly pull the crap YOU are pulling RIGHT NOW is why its constantly being compared to ps360 to showcase the obvious difference in capability between ps360 and non crap ports.

It doesnt have to be just as powerful and good looking as ps4 in order to be beyond the last generation. it simply has to be beyond the last generation.

you have said that the WiiU is more powerful than the PS3/X360 but then you say that the PS4/X1 are more powerful than the WiiU, Nintendo stepped out of the generational series a long time ago, it may fall into the eighth gen era  but it doesn't necessarily mean it;s a eighth gen console does it ?

get a WiiU, 3DS & a cheapo Android phone

Nintendo & Iwata MUST of known this was going to happen when they were designing the WiiU so why has it taken sooo long for Nintendo & Iwata to realise this, the same thing happened to the 3DS, they would of known the PS4 & X720 were going to be released a year or so after the WiiU was launched, i am not going to start going into specs but another gigabyte or two of RAM wouldn't of gone a miss & neither would USB 3.0, but Nintendo have been very naive it seems.

The adverts for the WiiU have been nonexistent & the adverts that have been made are patronizing to say the least, Nintendo wanted the so called core or hardcore gamer to invest in the WiiU & don't go on about how bad FIFA & Call of Duty are, the fact is that they sell in their millions & the WiiU could do with these games because these games will bring more people into the Nintendo fold & the more people with WiiU's the more games the WiiU will get.

Nintendo can still make it right but time is running out fast, the WiiU has until the PS4 & X720 are released, otherwise it's game over.

i have the demo, as others have said the extra videos are not worth the money, they are £1.79 here in the UK, once you have watched them you don't really have to watch them again, better to have people buy the app for £10 & then you get all the videos in the future for free.
