#178557 Dungeons and Dragons urge

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 03 March 2013 - 05:32 AM

I DM for my group every Wednesday night. If your looking to get back into it, the best way may be to find some friends or a local group that plays. I find most people looking to get back into it just jump back in with minor hand holding. I never turned down someone looking to learn/get back into D&D. Depending on what your used to, 4th edition is much different that the rest of the versions. Books can be expensive so I'd at least hunt down a Players Handbook if nothing else..if you can find a used copy even better. Like I said, if you can find a local group...preferably that any friends are part of...just tell them its been a while and you want to get back into it. I'm sure they will help you out. There isn't any other way to be honest.

I'd also like to offer any help I can provide, if you have questions or anything really. As a DM I'm used to teaching new players or re-acquainting old ones.

#176384 Reasons why this forum is imploding

So, even the chat regulars think the chat needs to be uninstalled?
Or am I misunderstanding?

Chat, while it allowed several members to hold greater discussion and get to know each other better, has been the source for a number of issues on here. It needs to be greatly revised (up the post count that allows usage, create rules, etc.), or, in my opinion, eliminated if issues aren't resolved.

I get the feeling I'm not the best judge of character for this situation, but as advice for forums members, when members involved in incidents are ignoring the issue, please don't draw attention to it either. Often in chat, when members try to draw away from issues to talk about something else, it's always brought back up, even against the the request of the involved.

This goes back to what was said of how we should just notify the mods promptly and ignore the trolls. The end.

#174050 Exactly how large is the power gap between the Wii U and the PS4?

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 21 February 2013 - 08:23 AM

This is ridiculous. I question every one of these threads and why you are on this forum. Obviously your not Nintendo FANS if your this fickle. If your playing video games for graphics, buy a PC and GTFO. At least wait until we see side by side comparisons of games out on the Wii U/PS4/720 before you complain about the Wii U being under powered. This is getting ridiculous. For all you people moaning about Nintendo being left in the dust or dying and less powerful wah wah wah, sell your Wii U and go join the PS4/720 forums please. Do us a friggan favor.
