#251886 Resident Evil: Revelations for Wii U or 3DS?

Posted by Gaymer on 17 October 2013 - 06:09 PM

Yeah the DLC is a bit silly but it's there lol. I have both because I enjoyed it on the 3DS. I enjoyed the Wii U version too.

Oh yeah, I enjoyed it on the Wii U as well, but the game felt empty to me without the 3D. Either way, the game is solid no matter where you play it.

Honestly, the only thing the Wii U version has over the 3DS version is the fact that you can mic chat with people while playing online. The game has less bugs and surprisingly looks better on the 3DS. Oh, and I have both. I prefer the controls on the 3DS, even without the circle pad pro.

#251864 Nintendo isn’t Focused on Making Games Easier Anymore, Getting Lost is “goodâ€

Like seriously, Mario games have gotten so easy I have to look up what the Game Over screens look like for them because I have too many lives.

LOL! I know, right? I don't think I've ever seen a game over screen in a Mario game since 64, or a 3D Zelda game since Majora's Mask. Ridiculous.

wow, the game looks gorgeous. I wasn't even hyped up for the game, but I can't wait to play it now!

#250805 Your favorite local multiplayer game right now?

Oh, you meant on the Wii U? Dang. I guess that'd be Tekken Tag 2. I love playing it with my husband.

Simple solution is if they're immature they're banned.

But then there'd be no one left. :o

I personally wouldn't want to see the chat back. Chat drama was always brought into the forums and a lot of the users on here are generally immature. Basically everything GameCollector said.

#250367 If ninty were to release a wii u slim and gamepad slim. What improvements?

Posted by Gaymer on 07 October 2013 - 10:30 PM

Everything Nintendo makes seems to be strong and durable.

I had my friends over for a party and one of them won in NintendoLand using the GamePad, so he started doing a victory dance (which involved thrusting the GamePad up and down quickly) and he lost grip on the GamePad, flinging it straight at the floor as hard as he could (I bet it would have broken any tablet, smartphone, or Xbocks/PS controller easily).

The GamePad was fine, but there's a dent in the floor where it hit.

Durable my ass! My gamepad's screen broke easily!

#250186 The Wind Waker HD only took 6 months to develop

That's always the peril with remakes, change too much and you lose your fanbase, change nothing and it's not worth buying to anyone.

Well, that's not necessarily true. The original Resident Evil was a D-grade cheesy horror flick, and the remake became one of those popcorn flicks that you'd watch with your loved one while cuddling up. (Like those nights we used to have) It depends on how much work the developer puts in.

#250163 Zelda SS on Gamepad?

Yes, It is quite awkward to swing the remote around in front of the tiny screen. I feel like a jackass. At least it works, though.

#250155 SSB4 a boring rehash?

Posted by Gaymer on 07 October 2013 - 06:39 AM

I've seen nothing to suggest that there's any plan of getting veterans out of the way first. =/

The only logic I see in the character reveals is related to advertising of games releasing (Toon Link being revealed right alongside Wind Waker HD), or for special events (like Luigi being revealed because it's their "Year of Luigi").

I'm just afraid they really don't have many new characters to announce. However, I'm very anxious to see what Pokemon/Pokemon character they announce if this pattern stays true and they want to reveal one alongside the release of X/Y.

Of course they're going to announce characters as their respective games come out. Like you said, it's to advertise the games being released. However, there is still plenty of time for them to announce the entire roster of characters. The date isn't set in stone, the game can be delayed, which is actually what I expect to happen. You know how companies are when it comes the the quality of their system selling franchises.

One year is not quite a "looooong" time. Especially since they're revealing veterans (including unlockable ones) left and right. You'd think they could spare us one newcomer.

They're getting the confirmed veterans out of the way, but it takes time for them to decide which ones are returning. After that, then we'll probably have more newcomers.

#250007 Who Has the Best First/ Second Party?

For me, that'd be Nintendo. Sony only has one franchise that I'm interested in, and the rest I don't care for.

Lol. Doesn't surprise me at all. I never considered this cash-in a remake anyway. I always thought it was merely re-released to get some more sales on the Wii U by people who feed off nostalgia and those who were unfortunate to have not played this game 100 years ago.

Who the heck sells a case and not the game? That's stupid.
