I can see getting rid of the number of yeahs being viewed as a good thing, but I don't think the numbers for communities disappearing is a good thing. It was an easy way of getting an estimate of how popular the game was

Am I alone in this thought? Say NFS: MW vs NFS: MWU, or ACIII. I just find games funner on Nintendo, maybe because of the gamepad, ok thats probably it. But does anyone else feel this way? I could just play a game on the xbox but I don't seem to have as much if any fun.

Fire the advertisment team. Spend a bit more time and money on TV adverts because no one knows what a Wii U is in the UK.

If Nintendo stops making hardware, I will quit console gaming all together and stick to PC. This is the reason why Halo, Mario, and Uncharted all looks so good and do so well. Because the developers truly understand the system, the system was literally built with those games in mind. Nintendo is the master of utilizing their hardware. Just look at DKC for wii, it looks like it could be a 360 game! And SS also looks truly amazing!

Awesome dude, I'm looking forward to ALL the games myself, the only problem I had was we just needed MORE of them that's all.

am i the only one who is not thrilled everything seems to be either voice, touch or movement based? I just like to sit down and have a controller and PLAY. What is supposed to happen with voice commands when there are three people in the room? If it is using the top of the line voice identification software, it's going to be expensive as well.

 

However, they're making a move to be the family console with this.

Why graphics? Doesn't gameplay matter the most? Who cares about graphics, that is why Crysis was garbage.

Can someone please explain to me why they are spending hundreds of dollars on electronics, and then smashing them on the ground? Couldn't they like buy these and give them away to charity instead of just wasting them?

Quality wise. We all know Nintendo fanboys will buy the 1st party games. That's all they really have

Quality is a subjective measure, and I would posit that every Nintendo first party game is better quality and more fun to play than any of Sony's.  Chalking sales up to fanboys is diluting your argument, which is weak to begin with.  Nintendo first party titles also regularly score better in reviews than Sony first party titles.

If the Wii U could run the Unreal 4 engine, then developers wouldn't be complaining.

Yes they would.  That is the nature of some developers.  They always want more.  No one was complaining, just saying they aren't going to build the engine for Wii U themselves.
