#180255 what can Nintendo do to win EA back

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 07 March 2013 - 12:05 PM

I think you guys are confusing EA with the actual game developers. I love a lot of the games they publish,  but they are still nazis.

#180254 Big budget Wii U fantasy RPG outed by job post & concept art

Thanks for the post! Not to be a jerk, but this came out and was posted even before the Wii U launched.  Just an FYI. ^^

#180231 is it true the wii u will be destroyed by ps4?

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 07 March 2013 - 11:00 AM

Anyone remember my status update about people asking questions that can't be answered? Case and point.

My opinion is I don't think so, but since No one here is a video game Soothsayer....we don't know what will happen.

#179936 Miyamoto ready for his retirement

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 06 March 2013 - 01:16 PM

Does any one know who would mostly likely replace him?

I think only he knows who will be picked. I'm sure whoever it is will be a perfect fit. I look forward to the next generation of minds at Nintendo.

#179599 Miyamoto discusses NFC and Duel Gamepads

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 05 March 2013 - 04:02 PM

I don't see why people bash NFC toys. If you don't like something then don't buy it. Simple as that. That's just one of the many uses of NFC. Nintendo will find cool ways to utilize it.

#179046 Handhelds VS. Home Consoles

Why can't I prefer both? They both offer different gaming experiences. I love them both.

#178772 Dungeons and Dragons urge

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 03 March 2013 - 05:07 PM

sigh....dude. It's a permanent learning disability ok. I can't help it....please dont make light of it. It has made my life very difficult and will continue to do so.

I don't know these things. Not making fun of you for it.

lol.

Also, dnd looks so chaotic.

You just make stuff up.

In a competitive game I'd rather have rules.

D&D isn't competitive though, its all team based. Also there are guidelines, but they vary per DM.

#178653 Dungeons and Dragons urge

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 03 March 2013 - 11:32 AM

I really wish I could get into D&D. But I had to stop playing it. Mostly because I have such terrible short term memory that I can never remember what I am supposed to roll for whatever the case may be, and that just annoys people and slows the game down. I highly doubt anyone out there is patient enough to play with someone like that. I dont want to be "that guy" that burdens a group.

lol Dragon, if your short term is that bad I think you need to start taking some vitamins :P

#178557 Dungeons and Dragons urge

I DM for my group every Wednesday night. If your looking to get back into it, the best way may be to find some friends or a local group that plays. I find most people looking to get back into it just jump back in with minor hand holding. I never turned down someone looking to learn/get back into D&D. Depending on what your used to, 4th edition is much different that the rest of the versions. Books can be expensive so I'd at least hunt down a Players Handbook if nothing else..if you can find a used copy even better. Like I said, if you can find a local group...preferably that any friends are part of...just tell them its been a while and you want to get back into it. I'm sure they will help you out. There isn't any other way to be honest.

I'd also like to offer any help I can provide, if you have questions or anything really. As a DM I'm used to teaching new players or re-acquainting old ones.

#178337 I think the PS4 specs are a lie

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 02 March 2013 - 01:53 PM

It seems a lot of the people questioning the specs are people not to familiar with PC hardware. These specs are good, but no where near top end in whats available to PC gamer's. Also as to anyone who thinks its not powerful enough, you need to realize that if they attempted to put the most powerful hardware in the machine...we would never see it launch. Technology updates so fast, it would literally be impossible. Any PC gamer can tell you that building a new machine is great and also sucks at the same time, you have many decisions to make and generally even if you blow 3k or so...by the time you build your machine you can bet it will be outdated shortly after.

#178074 EA EXPOSED

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 01 March 2013 - 07:48 PM

I love this video. Thank you thank you thank you. Screw you EA. Ironically enough I hated since the early 90's...which coincides with Trip Hawkins leaving the company.

#177445 Study: 4.6 percent of developers making Wii U games

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 28 February 2013 - 08:11 AM

People forget that Nintendo has been rolling along without 3rd party support since the N64. As even if we don't get most 3rd parties on board, Nintendo will push units for 1st party ips. I would be willing to bed Nintendo sells more systems for 1st/2nd party games than both microsoft and sony combined.

#177428 Best Xbox original games and what cables?

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 28 February 2013 - 06:11 AM

Some of my favorite games on the xbox were Panzer Dragoon Orta ( I want the special edition console so bad), Jet Set Radio Future, Robotech, KOTOR, Jade Empire. Just to name a few.

#175963 Aliens release now 31/5/13?

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 25 February 2013 - 06:03 AM

My local gamstop told me they cancelled the Wii U preorders because the game isn't coming out anymore. After hearing that the Wii U version is the absolute worst....it'd rather not have crap on the system.
