I am thinking of buying this game but have a question before i do.  My 5 year old son loved the Pikmin game on Nintendo Land.so will also want to play it.  Is it possible to save different games as we are likely to play at different times and advance through the game at different speeds?

Just create 2 save games, 1 for you and 1 for him... 1 on each profile. 2 profiles, 2 Mii's, 1 game, 2 datas, 2 different play times, 2 different game speeds, 2 advancements.

If he has a Wii U account (not just a Mii, an actual account) , he should have his own save file.

As the others have said, you'll need to use two different accounts. Pikmin 3 doesn't have multiple saves.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do i save a game to his profile? I will be buying the disc rather than downloading the game.

by going on the game, playing it and click save.

My 4 yr old can play the nintendo land one no problem, but on pikmin 3 he is lost at what to do or what to press.

Hes great at mario and kirby tho.

Yes its a great game. I'm a big pikmin fan. Brought 1 brand new when it first came out and love the pikmin games alot.

My son started playing Pikmin 1 and 2 when he was like four or five years old. He loves Pikmin, your son may not understand whats going on but im sure he will still have fun playing. 

Lol just have him watch ChuggaConroy.

 

On the first screen when you boot up your WiiU and it asks your to select a profile, you can create a new profile here for your son. When he wants to play his saved game just log him into his profile and load up a game and it will have its own save slots. This only works for some games, games like New Super Luigi U will load the same three saved files no matter what profile is logged in.

I think Pikmin 3 is a very immersive game with great HD graphics and fun, creative gameplay.

It had potential but I am selling this because they let you play for 15 min and then spend about 3 min making fruit juice w/ score board which is extremely frustrating.

Hes not selling it, he doesnt even really own it, he admitted in another thread the only thing he has is the w101 demo that just came out.

hes just trolling you, hes been thread hopping looking to incite a response in pretty much every post.
