Masahiro Sakurai just confirmed that until Kid Icarus: Uprising has finished production, SSB4 will not be started.
He said specifically that no characters have been confirmed, let alone discussed.

No, Sakurai is waiting to release Kid Icarus: Uprising before even thinking about ssb4.

I hope that they make a ton of first party titles before it and integrate new characters from the game. Maybe a metroid character like ridley or ghirahim from zelda skyward sword. i hope that instead of just the color changing when you choose different colors, how about different "suits" like give samus a fusion suit"suit", or link a fierce deity mask "suit", but these would be purely aesthetic.

And what about Giga Bowser? Giga bowser had a short appearance, but what if he had came for real this time?

Odd's are against it. In each SSB game, they've taken a single pokemon from that generation, as the rest go into pokeballs.

SSB4: I'd wager Zoruark, only because he's a lot like Lucario in his origin.

I've really high anticipation for the next Ssb so dont spoil it Nintendo!

There is 1 thing that's more important then any new feature to the series and that's better online experience. Improvements like a real pre-game interface so you can discuss before the game starts. Sometimes i wished they had a server list for all games that are searching for players, that you manually could join/get invited and last but not least is a proper chat system so you can message your FC friends and invite them to games etc.

I want retro stages from all games, like Mario Kart does! Some from N64, some from Melee (Hyrule Temple please), some from Brawl and a ton of new ones.

I like what Sirralart SuperDragon said because some of the Final Smashes the characters had was lame and some of them were stronger then the others. If they are gonna have 3rd party characters, they have to really think of which characters they are gonna put. R.O.B WAS A HUGE MISTAKE. They need to think harder. See If I could put any 3rd party Character. I would Put Sora from Kingdom Hearts. Why? becuase Kingdom hearts is originally for PlayStation, but now it moving its way up to Nintendo (hense why there's few games on the handheld). Sora costumes (colour pallet) would be Himself, Red (Valor Form), Blue (Wisdom Form), Yellow (Master Form), Black (Anti Form), Limit Form & Roxas. His attacks would be power moves and swing moves. His Up + B would be fly & (If there's 3) one of his final smash attacks will be Final Form making him in his Final Form clothes with 2 keyblades and his attacks are more powerful. Assist trophy would be many heatless & Nobodys and they would be attacking you and moving like in KH. A stage would be Dive to the Heart becuase its were you start off before starting your adventure.This would be awesome to play as Sora and I always wanted him to be in Super Smash Bros, but If he had been the other series, people wouldn't like that (or not know who he is). So I'm gald there gonna be more 3rd Partys in SSB4 and Sora would be an awesome one to play as.

I'd like to see a few of Capcom's Power Stone characters in the new SSB game.

Of course, the Power Stone series isn't the most popular game series, but it was lots of fun. It actually (kind of) took a lot of cues from SSB.

And maybe some characters and stages exclusive to the 3ds and some exclusive to the Wii U. I would say Banjo and Kazooie, which would be the best with Banjo, Grunty and mumbo as playable characters (or bottles revenge as an assist), microsoft willnot allow it

As long as Captain Olimar still has his spot on the roster I think I'll be okay. Other then him I didn't really play many other beside King Dedede and Yoshi. As for new characters? It will never happen ever, but Travis Touchdown, from No More Heroes would be most awesomesauce thing Sakurai could add to the roster.

Here is some idea's that came to my head on what I want in Super Smash Bros 4.

Characters (I Want):

• Sora [kingdom Hearts]
• Nightmare [Soul Calibur]
• Pokemon Trainer 2 (it would be a girl and she'll have 5 gen pokemon) [Pokemon]
• Toon Zelda and Tetra [The Legend of Zelda]
• King K. Rool [Donkey Kong]
• Ridley [Metroid]

Characters (I don't want back)

• R.O.B (hes useless)

- I want more stages for each series (hate it becuase Mario series has like 5 stages and someone like Zelda series has 1. Make it each series has more then 1, maybe 2 or more)

- BRING BACK ALL OLD STAGES (I want to see all Smash Bros, Melee & Brawl stages back becuase I like old stages coming back but when they brought back old stages they chose crappy ones)

- BRING BACK LINK'S BLACK PALLETE (its way better then his brawl one)

- BRING BACK ALL POKEMON (all the pokemon they had was cool, why only so liitle in brawl?)

- MAKE STAGE MUSIC LIKE MELEE (i like how they have many muisc for the stages, but they should make some stage music like the ones in Melee)

- BETTER ONLINE (they should make it like free for all but online)

- BRING BACK EGG (egg as an item was cool)

- MORE THEN 1 FINAL SMASH (some characters had stronger final smash then others, they should have 3... weak, mediun and strong)

- customize own character (just like stage bulider, but with characters)

- BETTER STAGE BULIDER (i want to make moving stages, and they should make that items can overlap other items)

- NO MORE SUBSPACE (subspace was stupid, I hated it, just bring back adventure but with also boss battle so we can still keep boss battle)

- Customize muenu (colours and how the menu tabs looks like)

- BETTER SMASH VILLE (I like there was a animal crossing stage, but it was to small, they should make it like delfino plaza having a moving platform and you get to go around the town and on saturdays at 8pm you fight in 'The Roost' hearing EVERY single song by K.K Slider and if a CD falls when K.K Slider is playing his song it will be in My music so next time you fight and his not there his song is, and make it that the season and weather changes as well so we can fight in winter or when is raining and on speical holidays the stage will celebrate the day like in animal crossinf eg. in new years eve there will be fire works at night and if you connect your DS/3DS you can fight on your Animal Crossing town with the stage name being your town name, but you don't have AC game there will be a default AC stage there already and when you fight on the stage the animals in the town will
walk around, but they won't get in the way)

- BRING BACK BOARD THE PLATFORMS (they were awesome)

- BRING BACK RED SHELL (I missed it. wonder why they didn't bring it back in brawl?)
