I too think an mmo type game would be cool. Maybe all of the IP characters are playable characters. You can travel to different worlds which represent each of the characters home worlds.

I want something totally new. Kinda like Xenoblade. Enough new stuff to be revolutionary, but enough older things for the average gamer to start playing. However, I did a post on the 3DS Forums describing a Mii platform. $20 and an eShop exclusive. It stars your Mii. The goal is to get to the end of the level just like any other platformer. But this is where it gets a little crazy. The level design. Since this game stars your Mii, the levels are crazy. Not crazy hard, but crazy level design. Super creative. This game uses your Mii after all, so Nintendo can get away with anything. There can only be 2 games on each system on the eShop. Maybe the first game next year on the 3DS eShop to see how well it works, then make another for the WiiU, then back to the 3DS, and end the 8th generation versions on the WiiU. I personally think this would be amazing. Not too many games per generation, good price, plenty of content, and stunningly creative level design. Maybe even add a level creator add-on a month or 2 after release if it's loved enough. I would love this, and I'm sure plenty of other gamers would too.

I would want a fun, lightec hearted RPG, something that is engaging but doesn't take it's self seriously. Something with the atmosphere of portal.

I like the idea of something in between Adventure to RPG, like the older Zeldas (sorry, haven't played any since SNES, so I have no idea if they have more RPG elements or not).

Judging by this pole, RPG is what Nintendo should be aiming for... hah

I want a game that has platforming, action, RPG elements and a dark yet beautiful world.
Edit: and no more a princess that needs to be saved, but a entirely unique story.
And a hero that has a lot of depth and that WE CAN HEAR HIM!!!!!!!!!!

Nintendo should make a strategy game, not Pikmin but with actual large epic battles, and I feel Nintendo can make a really unique strategy game.

I want a Super Mario All-Stars 2 more than anything really. Only, HD remakes of classic games updated with New Super Mario Bros. U and Mario Galaxy graphics.

Ok, here is my opinion. I think Nintendo need to do a FPS, a TPS , a Car simulation, and a traditional fighting game, like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. Maybe Both. This is for the first and second party games. I also think they need to revive or put good efforts in some franchises, like sports series like 1080, Wave race and something. Put a good team for Arcade Racing games like Cruis'n, and bring a lot of exclusives from third parties. The other third parties and multiplat games, even if they couldn't bring all of them, wich is very probable, they can bring some key games or franchises, so the console can be a very unique platform.

I wouldn't mind a Pokemon/Dragon Quest-like RPG with slightly darker visuals, like Metroid or Twilight Princess.

I voted but honestly nintendo ANY new IP would be a good thing,

I love all your current franchises but I'm tired of seeing the same characters in the same games constantly.

I get it you want familiar characters and stuff but come on!
your latest games "especially on the Wii" Were just the exact same games from the gamecube or Snes with upgraded graphics and a few new gameplay additions

As fans we want something new!
The Wii was already a huge letdown for your fans please get your act together and make some new IP's or totally reinvent the old ones.

Also please make it easier for 3rd party developers to make games for your system!
The problem I had with the Wii and the problem I have with the Wii U right not is the same thing

little to no 3rd party support...

Come on Nintendo!
I am seriously considering trading my Wii U for a different console simply because of the lack of games for your system!
