Personally, an RTS game would work very well on the Wii U due to the pad.

A game like that would be cool, and I would like it if the choices you make in the game will overall affect the story.

I want a 3D pokemon game. Like a mix of the handheld pokemon games, along with the realtime battles of Pokepark. I always dreamed of having battles in real time, with 4 moves, and you go through towns collecting badges, catching pokemon, and defeating the elite 4, with all the strategy of the turn-based game but real time like pokepark. I'd want them to avoid having gameplay with button spamming the same attacks, and an energy based system. So if you do a certain move, it drains this much energy, and you have to switch pokemon. Dodging isn't random, but based on the speed of both pokemon, your stamina, and your own ability to predict the enemies attacks. Possibly double, triple, quadruple, (quintuple?) battles with multiple players. Smart camera panning that subtly zooms in and out and rotates based on the amount of important objects in the general vicinity.

You know what I want, Nintendo to make more games of the other franchises they have (StarFox, Mother etc...). Like seriously, Mario games are good but having a lot and a lot can get a little TOO annoying. Also, it's seems that pretty much only Mario and Pokémon have spin-off games.

Pick up forgotten IP's/games; Star Tropics, Ice Climbers, Kung Fu, Earth Bound, Eternal Darkness, Duck Hunt, Gyromite, etc..etc.

I dont think they need a new IP, all they have to do is bring back an old one.

I would like to see a brand new Kirby game on Wii U. Anybody with me? No? Okay, I'll go in a corner until a new Kirby game releases.

I want Nintendo Universe. It is like Super Smash Bros and Mario Galaxy combined. It starts off with Mario traveling to Hyrule by taking a portal and it gets combined into LoZ gameplay and Mario gameplay. When he meets Link they team up because Ganon, Vaati, and Bowser have teamed up! Then they follow a trail around the Nintendo Universe teaming them up with Kirby, Pit, Pikachu, Samus, Ice Climbers, Fox and everyone else because all of their last bosses/villains teamed up too. This would be 3D like Mario Galaxy have more exploration than the biggest Hyrule and end in a epic final face off with every Nintendo Hero against every Nintendo Villian. They would each get transported to different world throught the battle working together to saw their land, princesses, and the Universe. It would have like have the roster on 3DS and another half on Wii U and they would be linked for the final battle, switching between each console for a certain part of it. Nintendo would sell millions of both consoles with this awesome game. Nintendo Universe equals awesome. Each of the gameplay from each game would be featured! Every Nintendo fanboys dream...
Hey I'm a huge mario, Zelda, and smash bros junkie, have a Wii U and 3DS and I can't upload some sweet box art concept for super smash bros :(

I would like a rhythm game. However, the funny thing is that I sometimes hear that Nintendo doesn't make new IP's. However, that's not really true. They do make new IPs, but they usually put their existing franchises or characters in them. Examples are Game & Wario, NES Remix and Nintendoland. I could list more better examples, but I think you already understand where I'm coming.

However, do keep in mind that this doesn't actually mean that Nintendo doesn't make IP's with original characters and such.

Hm... Adventure game overwhelmingly destroys the charts, And with 'slightly dramatic' Which, im guessing most people chose that for the same reason I did 'something interesting enough to draw me in'.

and... Its exactly 100% the thing Nintendo has refused to show on the wii u. Go figure.

Three franchises I'd like to see Monolith Soft do after "X"

1) Super Mario RPG 2

While I doubt Square Enix would do something as awesome as Super Mario RPG I'd bet Monolith Soft would, be horsing appropriate since the founders worked on Final Fantasy 6.

2) Legends of Hyrule/New IP

This could be an open world MMORPG based in Hyrule at a time where the Hero is missing and ordinary folk fight for the future of Hyrule. People could create their own hero/villain and complete dungeons and do battle

3) Another Xenogears/blade game.

While it's the least desired of my three ideas. We don't know what the X game will be, it could be a Xenoblade game or a Xenogears game, but they should follow up with a sequel to the franchise they missed out, unless they amalgamate the two franchises together with X. Which is a possibility.

What Nintendo needs right now is a decent action adventure shooter like Metroid Prime on the Wii U!!!  They were one of the pioneers of this genre for crying out loud.  They also need  to revive IPs like Eternal Darkness, Starfox, FireEmblem, Custom Robo, F-Zero(FRN would make a great F0  Nintendo) etc for their home console.  They should tap into funding more quality indie titles like Festival of Magic, Shovel Knight, and SteamWorlds to fill in the gaps as well.

Fire Emblem isn't dead. We just got Awakening on 3ds last year and SMTXFE is coming out. Metroid has already been announced as in the planning. StarFox was at E3 and has a 2015 release date. Fast Racing Neo will take care of F zero and they have over 80 new IP's the last 13 years. They have Fatal Frame just need to bring it west for horror. They also have a Action/Shooter coming up from the creator of Ninja Gaiden in Devils Third.

I am aware that some of these games have come out on the 3DS; but they have not come out in years for a home console.  Metroid Prime for example have been missing from the home console scene almost 7 years and some games like FE, StarFox, F0, Custom Robo, Battallion Wars, etc are even longer.  Besides, W101, Drillon, Sakura Samurai, NintendoLand and Splatoon what other IP's have Nintendo created?  I know they have a backlog of IP's but they rarely use them regardless of how well received they are by the public for example Eternal Darkness.  I for one wished that Nintendo funded and co-owned Shadow of the Eternals and made it into a sequel to Eternal Darkness rather than funding a superfical game like Devil's 3rd from Itakagi.
