This certainly is interesting... But I would prefer a DNA theme. Take a look at the Japanese logos for evidence on that.

Pokemon is a handheld console seller... it's not for consoles. Cross-play isn't even all that important... The 3DS needs games too... That's like saying, "OoT 3D got a port to the 3DS, there's no excuse for Nintendo to not put that onto the Wii". You're acting like it's a required thing, and it most definitely isn't.

Pokemon on a console? No. That won't work out Pokemon is meant to be a handheld game. The only thing I'd expect on Wii U is a spin-off.This has majorly pissed me off. Surely Nintendo would want to focus on the WIIU?! I mean come on, I was expecting the new Pokemon to be on the Wiiu. Jesus christ.

I call bull.
I doubt there is any truth to the rumour.
It's a rumor for a reason. If it wasn't for rumors...the gaming industry wouldn't be nearly as fun.
This is a big possibility. Sega is owned by Sammy and with the current restructuring going on its obvious they are loosing money. If Nintendo had the choice of never having another Sega game on any console, or buying them for exclusives..you better believe they would buy them. If the price is right ( and it probably would be since this is long from Sega's glory days) I can see Nintendo buying Sega and trying to retool the internal development teams while they were in their prime. Nintendo gets a ridiculously huge and epic back library of games to work on. For Sega this could be the shot in the arm they need as well. It would really be a win win.

All we ever hear is that the wii u is underpowered compared to Sony and Microsoft's "ultra super powered hyper mega gaming machine".
They don't even have new consoles out yet and even when they do, they are building games consoles, not super computers. We have no idea how powerful they will be.

for example i would like to play diddy kong racing, supermario 64 etc... would they be purchasable from the app store.. havnt really come across much regarding this information on the internet.
They haven't disclosed all the Wii U eShop or VC titles yet. I'd assume old VC titles from the Wii would be available.
On a much funnier note...I misread that as Superman 64 and almost died from laughter.
