But guys we should totally still fire Iwata. He's a total failure and is literally killing Nintendo.

I'm going to just accept that it's Nintendo so it'll be something we would never had guessed yet is still pretty awesome.

I actually proposed this years ago before Wii U was release. make a high end competitive to competition home console priced and speced higher and a more innovative affordable console also. I think it would be hard to pull of but its the same idea as an Iphone 5s or 5c. Make them compatible but just as an example a game released on both consoles one able to achieve 720p 30 fps and the other full native 1080p 60fps. I guess only time will tell what nintendo is up to.

A great way to get friends really interested is to invite them over to play. Some friends never gave the Wii U a chance from the get go but once they have played it, their mindset changed. I know of one friend who picked up one over the holidays and another considering it this summer. Host a gaming party, let people experience what the Wii U offers, there is quite a library of games to showoff what makes the system appealing.

Nicalis founder Tyrone Rodriguez has criticised the Wii U GamePad on Twitter. Rodriguez says that the controller is vastly underused by developers and is therefore a waste of money when looking at the total cost of the Wii U to consumers.

He's right. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freezes doesn't use this at all, did Pikmin 3 use it beyond a map feature? Nintendo bragged about the second screen, but have yet to do anything damn innovative with it.

Don't worry, it'll be in Xbox One SP1

I agree with you and Auzzie, there are a number of factors which effect third party support on Wii U.
But talking specifically about your point, I really struggle to understand why most people wont buy third party games on Wii U. Yes there are some poor efforts like you said but there are also some fine efforts.
A perfect example would be ACIV. It is a great game and a great port from Ubisoft but still no one buys it. More copies were sold on xbox one and has an install base of around half of wii u. And thanks to no one buying it we probably wont get the next assassins creed or the pirate game ubisoft are making.
It's especially upsetting for people like myself who only own a Wii U.

I have a few third party games (NFS, AC3, Rayman), and I know I'm part of the problem. I'm only buying ports that are good, but I should probably buy bad ports as well, just to encourage the third parties a bit. Although, third parties are definitely not trying as hard on the Wii U as they are on other consoles, if they were then they'd be seeing better sales (not saying they'd be equal to other consoles, but at least comparable).

I'm one of those rational people who believe the reason why third parties are having a hard time on the Wii U is because of more than one factor. Nintendo, the Wii U itself, Third Parties, the Consumer, Retailers and Expectations are all part of it.
Third parties are definitely not 100% to blame for what has happened with Wii U support. People need to stop saying that.
