Yeah, it's probably best not to expose children whose parents don't want exposed to such things.

I find racism and sexism offensive when one race or gender expects different treatment because they were born the way they are, or if someone treats them especially bad solely because of it.
I also believe joking about such serious things helps to lighten the mood and perhaps decrease sensitivity.

I think you're right. I hope the Wii U becomes somewhere people can go to play games rather than be abused.

Nintendo Land seems more like a collection of Wario Ware games than anything substantial.

Have you played warioware recently? The games in those never lasted for more than 5 seconds.

Posted by Stormage09 on 02 December 2012 - 06:31 AM

it took me 15 hours without using any guide or anything, what makes the game longer is when you are stuck and dont know what to do, but thats nice too :P

#145911 ZombiU Questions (Tips or Tricks Welcome)

Posted by aMaG1CaLmAnG1Na on 09 December 2012 - 10:33 AM

After reading all the great reviews on the forums I decided to pick up ZombiU both because it sounded like fun and seemed like a game that would catch my wife's interest and maybe pull her away from always wanting to play Super Mario u.

We started playing and essentially switch off every time our survivor dies and we move on to the next person.  There are A lot of random things that I have slowly realized while playing the game but also more questions arise the more I play.  Granted we are only outside buckingham palace (played about 2 hours and the wife is on a steep learning curve).

The one main thing I realized was how important keeping stuff in the backpack other than the absolute necessities is.  I initially thought when your survivor dies if you go back and kill them you would be able to recover what is in the pack as well as what was equipped but that wasn't the case.  Only the items in the pack are recovered,

So this brings me to my initial question (I am hoping this can become more of a tips and tricks thread for the game since info is scattered everywhere on the forum)

My wife pick up the rifle and some rifle rounds, equipped it and then died.  How long, if ever, videos it typically take to find crucial items like this again? Is the game good about ensuring you will have the necessary tools and equipment to survive, or can you get part way through the game, lose everything and simply be overwhelmed with no chance of continuing forward?
