I think the Wii U will do

 

 

What annoyed me about the PS4 is how Mark Cerny referred to the console as a supercharged PC when as Nvidia pointed out, the PS4 is a low-end PC. I believe the PS4 will be a great console, but people have really fallen for the whole "PS4 is a supercharged PC", the architecture of the PS4 was already outdated prior to its launch.

When buying the Heathen Boxes this generation always remember that only one of these two words will exist in a game, "1080p" and "60fps steady".

Dudebros bought into the hype so they can play CoD and BF on a "powerful" machine. Such hypocrisy. Most dudebros are just idiots who can't be bothered to play something more complex than just shooting and are currently bandwagoning on TLOU.

And I have a Wii U and Xbox One and shall be getting the Xbox version. 3rd parties have shown they can't be arsed with Wii U so I'm done with them at this point.

Also, this nonsense about Watch Dogs was posted ages ago and it was ridiculous then.

I'm pretty convinced this is a guy trolling at this point as he said he had sold the Wii U then suddenly he was getting one, now suddenly he's a big fan? Yeah sure.

3rd party games won't sell Wii U. Ubisoft would not kill years of development for new consoles to make a Wii U exclusive this close to launch. Ridiculous.

 

I have a Wii U and a PS4. No way in hell I am buying the Wii U version. Even though there is no possibility of what you want happening, I would skip watchdogs all together if it did.

Wii U is what it is. A machine intended to play Nintendo only games. I am actually very curious how the Wii U version sells. I am guessing not well.

Oh god, the hypocrisy. People want good ports. So dev tries porting. People don't buy. Devs don't dev. People won't buy systems. No buyers=no 3rd parties. 

 

If you truly want the Wii U to succeed at least just try buying Watch_Dogs and give 3rd Parties another chance guys. One party has to make the jump for everyone to succeed. Of course, I'm buying Watch_Dogs on WiiU then pirating it on PC since I don't want to pay for the same game twice.

 

The success of the Wii U depends on the mentality of the buyers. This stigma should really end. We were given the chance to prove to 3rd parties that they can succeed on a Ninty platform but we failed because people were too stuck in their ways. So basically, want the WiiU to succeed? Buy some damn games and shut the f up.

 

Also Am a nintendo freak i cant deny that Wii U is struggling specially since its not selling well, but we still have a hope; watchdogs  if nintendo payed for devs to make watchdogs a Wii U exclusive, We might still have a chance so hopefully if nintendo makes Wii u an exclusive they should :-

 

1. disable region lock

2.make a watch dogs bundle that does not cost more than 200-250

3. include cross game chat.

 

These might be enough for Wii U to sell especially that watchdogs is the most anticipated game of 2014.

 

 

Seriously man. Wow. You want to become a game developer but you lack the understanding and know-how of the industry. Dude. Read up on some facts or something. Start by reading some other big non-news content aggregation sites like reddit or whatever there else is. Look, I know you're already 18 but man, you make some pretty illogical statements. In fact, half of your posts are fallacies. Piece of advice: Take some C++ lessons on the web before you go to college and some essay composition ones too. You can't be a designer let alone a designer if you don't familiarize yourself with how games work and the intricate web that we call "the video game industry". I'm just worried dude. You might make a great developer some day but everything has a starting point. Whether it be BASIC, C++, Java or Python; you have got to start somewhere.

All we're missing are some Indie games, all EA games and 2K Sports. Other than that, our line-up (bar exclusives) is practically the same to that of the PS4 yet fanboys don't see it...

The PS4 even has the same problem that the Wii U had: old ports. Sooner or later, fanboys will realize that their "next-gen" games aren't really next gen at all and will use the same reasoning that we Nintendo fans used when they bashed us.

Jose Otero is basically the best qualities of Rich and Matt C. combined into a less annoying male version of Audrey.

Hi guys UnchainedGoku here! Nice to see you all again! I just thought I'd pop back to share quite a major frustration. Well I was going to sell my Wii U today, I know I'm naughty but I just haven't been playing it much and I've never missed a GTA game before and with GTA V coming soon I thought that I would pick up a second hand PS3 and a few games Including GTA V boy was I In for a shock MY WII U IS LITERALLY WORTHLESS!!!! Here let me explain, in the UK we have two shops well the only two near me anyway and they are called GAME and CEX (Computer EXchange) in both places I was gonna sell Assassin's Creed 3, Batman Arkham City Armored Edition, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Darksiders 2, Sonic And All Stars Racing Transformed and My Premium 32GB Wii U ZombiU Bundle. Guess how much............................. ok I'll spill, £157 in GAME and £150 in CEX!!!!!!!!! What are you kidding me! I paid over £500 for all of this less than a year ago! I got more than this for my Slim Xbox and that was nearly 2 years old!!!!!!!! My ZombiU Wii U Premium 32GB was only worth £100 - £101 I paid £350 for it! I HAVE NEVER EVER EVER seen a console depreciate and lose it's value so quick I can't even get half my money back. You know what the funny thing is though? I get £157 for all my stuff and the cheapest second hand PS3 is £149!!!!!!! And it's not like I can just take my money elsewhere either that £157 was for trade in value not cash, cash was even less! Well that's it MY WII U IS LITERALLY F***ING WORTHLESS!!! I am literally shocked, anyway guy's I'll be answering tho this thread only, I'll be back fully for a few weeks around the Pokemon X and Y launch. What are you're opinions on this amazingly obsurd situation, even cars don't depreciate this quick!

The logic: people want games on the Wii U but when a company wants to put a multiplat game on the U with unique features, you don't buy it.

Ummm. I think there might be a story mode but with no cut-scenes aside from Char. Intros and the essentials. So kinda like Tekken in terms of a "story mode" as in with intros, endings, rivals, etc. After all, Namco is working on this game.

Pokemon X Digimon Online: Digitized and Capsuled! You could like have 2 sides, the Digimon and Pokemon users and have players go into an open-world setting focusing on the intersection of the universes wherein you are a new trainer/tamer.

 

Now that would be the bomb!

This is just a follow up to my post last month.

 

Either way, we just established the game club in school this year so we're the neophytes.  For being new, we did pretty well garnering  $150 (which is godsend in the Philippines) total in profit. One of our member's Wii didn't arrive in time so we only had my Wii U.

 

We played stuff like SSBB (the most), Sonic Racing, Mario Kart and Nintendo Land. Most of the people enjoyed it and a lot of the non-gamers joined in the fun. The best part we had was during the SSBB tourney since we had a mix of veterans and newbs so it was really unpredictable. Luigi's Ghost Mansion minigame gets a special mention since it attracted a LOT of customers.

 

Thanks UnchainedGoku and the others for giving me ideas last month.

I've only heard about the site's main admin in name and have never seen post by him but I always see him active in the MLP forums. Did he abandon thewiiu or is he coming back? Just a question.
