#66924 Nintendo Network costing money?

Posted by Joshua on 18 March 2012 - 10:27 PM

Paying for things such as an online service is not something Nintendo would do. It's just not.......them.

#66623 Wii U Controller Accessories

Posted by Joshua on 16 March 2012 - 06:31 PM

Somebody recommended a steering wheel which I reckon would be pretty dumb, considering that the Wii U Controller already is big enough to be one.

This is the only reson I am not dissapointed at the 2013 launch.

Duke Nukem: Forever kinda just shat on Miyamoto's epic quote.

#66175 What do you really want to do with WiiU

Posted by Joshua on 13 March 2012 - 09:04 PM

Play Nintendo's first party titles AND high-quality third party titles on one console.

#65585 WiiU game prices

Posted by Joshua on 10 March 2012 - 01:04 AM

This is what i don't get. There's heaps of Americans complaining about a $50 price tag when our Australian Dollar is actually worth more than the US dollar and we still always pay essentially twice as much for everything game related.

I think it's the fact that we have a smaller market size in comparison to the rest of the world. We only have a total population of approx. 20 Million. The United States has over 100 Million. For businesses to make the same or close amount of cash as they can in Australia, they have to raise our prices so their income in Australian dollars can match their income in the U.S dollar.

The fact that our dollar is stronger than the U.S gives makes them even more eager to raise prices as they would be earning more money. It's a greedy business practice, but it works.

They say that brevity is the wit of the soul. Unfortunately, I took a shovel to my soul somewhere along the way. So long, wit!

And this will be forever known as the shortest post Ponkotsu has ever posted. :D
But in seriousness, I do enjoy your detailed posts.

3. My slow computer

Your computer isn't the Internet, mate. :D

Or is it!?

#63966 "New rumors leaked"

Posted by Joshua on 28 February 2012 - 03:13 AM

bu**c***p!!! the wii u is not going to make crytek "very happy" and be only 2x the power of 360. and its also not going to make EA commit to releasing all its key franchises with only 2x the power of 360. u know what else, gearbox wouldnt be praising it so highly either, and activision wouldnt have promised to support it like no nintendo console before. the wii u will be much more powerful than that

Hit the nail on the head right there Crackkat. Good job.

These are all lies!!

#63590 prepare yourself...for the Wii U

Posted by Joshua on 26 February 2012 - 03:03 AM

The most likely scenario is that the Wii U is going to be strong and visually impressive, and then Microsoft and Sony are going to do everything in their power to make stronger next gen consoles. This is almost unavoidable and really, it's probably not all that important

Actually, I beg to differ about Microsoft. We had numerous rumour reports that Microsoft is going for a weaker GPU than that of the Wii U. Rumour has it that they are also planning to use a tablet controller which will make extra use of the Kinect. If Microsoft goes for the 'casual' audience next generation, it wouldn't be all surprising; considering the amount of money they are making with the Xbox Kinect.

But remember, these are all just rumours. But if they were to come into reality, then we will see an interesting next-gen ahead of us indeed.
