No. Nothing I've seen suggest that Nintendo had a hand on the development of Cave Story for either the DSi or WiiWare.

I have seen rumors of the next Snash Bros. not adding anymore character slots. Does anybody know if this is true or just a rumor?

I'm sure others have thought this, but only dawned on me recently... Due to Namco Bandai working on the game, I think it'd be a cool idea to create custom, alternate colour palettes for the various characters who will eventually make it into Smash 4. They've had experience in making this sort of thing before - Soul Calibur comes to mind - and would make for a neat little edition.

Imagine having your own sort of 'call sign' for matches in the form of a custom-made outfit? Seriously, I'd love this, and I'm sure others would too.

He said that he thought that the game had nearly reached the maximum number of characters it can have while being relatively balanced. So I mean he didn't say it directly, but we probably won't be seeing too many more characters

I'm hoping for an online ranking system. With SSBB, there was no way to tell who the top players were online. (Brawl wifi is kinda bad, but that's another story.) A ranking system will get more people into the competitive aspect of Smash & make players want to improve and rank up. A 1v1 "With Anyone" option would also be nice.

With SSBB, I'll wait and see this coming E3. Who going to be there? will it have 3th party char? and when is coming out for the Wii U and the 3DS.

There could be a level system depending on how well you do online.
factored in KOs/falls, damage dealt/taken, coins collected/lost, and wins vs losses
would assign you a level from 1 to 9, and maybe 10 for the best players (myself),
so you could find a match for you or just beat up newbies. Also, a sort of
"super smash ebay" where you can by an sell trophies, stickers and other
things like snapshots.
