Okay. Sorry about the duplicate again. It decided it wanted to bug out on me.
Yeah, that's been happening. 3 times is unusual though.

I'm back! But not in black though, because that would be just cheesy.

I personally don't have a problem with "come visit my youtube/blog/article I wrote" posts.
Just ask if you can create the thread/have the thread moved next time.

He definitely did it a bit early, but he did what he had to to survive.

Mmmm. According to that logic then you support the sale of crack cocaine.
I was talking about profitable for Nintendo, genius.
I for one am against that, and stupid, overpriced consoles.
Yes, because $100 for a brand new Wii with Mario Kart is so overpriced.
Oh, wait, it isn't. And neither is it stupid, it's just not marketed towards you.

Aw, darn.
The submit button for both "IP board" and "The Wii U" themes doesn't work on my phone, and changing to mobile resets my entire profile to mobile even on my computers.

That is entirely too much to expect out of most parents today.INTRODUCING THE 1DS
COMPATIBILITY WITH XBOX ONE
GAMES: MARIO CITY SIMULATOR, LEGEND OF ZELDA: MODERN WARFARE, PIKMIN: STARCRAFT EDITION, KIRBYFIELD 3, AND THE SIMS ANIMAL CROSSERS EXPANSION PACK
You can turn off 3D AND the slider entirely in the parent "Safety options" area of the settings menu.
And before you say they can go in there and turn it back on, i'm fairly certain you can set a password for it.

The WiiU has 1GB for games & the other 1GB is for the OS, so it has twice the amount as the PS3, which is not a lot, the laptop i am using which was £400 has 8GB or GDDR3 & is twelve months old.
The WiiU should of had 5GB, that's 1GB for the OS & 4GB for games, both the PS4 & X1 are said to use a lot of RAM for the OS & other things like Kinect & the game/video streaming, so even if they use half of their 8GB they have 4GB left for games where the WiiU only has 1GB.
Developers & programmers have always wanted more RAM, they always have & always will.
The only way a RAM pack could work is if Nintendo gave everyone the sticks of RAM & had them install it as it's very easy & simple to do, this is for everyone that already has a WiiU & then on a set day release a update that recognises the updated RAM & new WiiU units already have the more RAM installed.
Um no.
Wii U has 4x as much RAM than PS3 and 360 whatever way you look at it.
1GB as of now is fully usable for games, keep in mind Nintendo can optimize it's Operating System in future updates and make more RAM available. Something you need to realise is that PS360 didn't even have the full 512MB for games.
We are talking only 300-400MB for PS360 games as the rest are used for their Operating Systems.
One important factor for creating "next gen" visuals in Wii U is the CPU's cache memory, GPGPU functions and the large amount of on die 32mb eDram. 360 only had 10mb.
As it stands Wii U has 4x as much RAM, over 3x as much eDram, much more modern GPU, lots of cache memory in the CPU plus hidden custom features all bundled on one MCM.
When developers get to grips with the console we will see visuals that make PS360 games look dated and "last gen".

It would make the original Wii U obsolete and honestly dont think many developers or publishers would even bother with it. Would be like the CD attachments for the SNES or N64. Useless.

Hi!
I spent my childhood and most of my formative years playing Nintendo, I outright rejected the PS and Xbox and never had either in my home until the PS3 which my brother bought. I skipped the Nintendo Wii but I just bought a Wii U and have absolutely no idea why. Not to say I regret the purchase. I just have no idea why or how a wave of nostalgia so big so suddenly hit me and convinced me to spend $1000+ on a Wii U, games, accessories and a new TV. I didn't see an advertisement or a friend who suggested it. A random urge, some googling and about a week later and my room is completely revamped to incorporate the Wii U and Samsung as the centerpieces.
The first games I bought along with the system were New Super Mario Bros U and Resident Evil. Mario was fun and brought back a lot of memories but it had me thinking I was just too old to really love this anymore. Resident Evil (first time playing one, I've never been as into the Zombie thing as a lot of people are) I bought specifically hoping it would scare me and allowed myself to only play at night after reading messed up stuff about messed up stuff on the internet and getting myself creeped out to begin with. The conehead zombies didn't scare me but my character's shadow literally made me jump in my seat several times, I lost most of that nervous fear when I saw the whole game wasn't set on that ship hahah. Noob.
At that point I decided I needed to go to a classic. My bread and butter Zelda. I bought Skyward Sword and god damn I'm in love again. I went in thinking the motion controlled swordplay would be awesome, was annoyed at how painful it seemed to be for my wrists after getting a taste and went back to being fan after refining my motions. I'm so stoked for Pikmin 3, Wind Waker, Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart and Donkey Kong. I'm a completionist so the games I have currently plus I'll probably end up getting Darksiders 2 and Assassin's Creed should tide me over until Pikmin and beyond when the rest of these games start coming out.
I can absolutely see how avid supporters of Nintendo who spent major time with the Wii could be disillusioned with how things are currently but I am utterly optimistic that I'm going to have so much fun with this system. Hopefully, with friends I make here because I don't know a single person who owns the Wii U. Again, that speaks to some of the trouble Nintendo is/or seems to be having but I'm 100% on team "they'll figure it out."
Edit: Seems team Green is invading these boards.
