Hey guys today I decided to make a design for our beloved Forum for fun. I tried to keep it nice and simple in design. If you may have noticed I added a big spot to feature Wii U games because I think it's nice for people to find out about new games, and also be a little different every time. It's still a WIP and I'll be changing some things and adding some themed icons tomorrow where you see the empty spaces next to the Sections. Example: "Wii U Hardware" will have the Wii U console as an icon and "Wii U Games" will have the Gamepad as an icon. Maybe if I spend more than a day on it I can make it look nicer.

Tell me what you guys think about the design and what you think I should change. Don't take this too serious I did this for fun and practice.

I reckon this forum needs a revamp, and I believe that you'd be the perfect person for the job Cerb.
Unfortunately I can only do so much as a moderator, and getting contact with feld0 isn't as easy as it seems.

I like this design. Mainly because it does have the edge the forum needs, a personal touch. They other thing is it's still pretty similar to what we have right now, and the default IP theme is easy on the eyes.

Should be noted that this does help because people have been asking for a custom theme since before I joined.

It looks great, this version is really good and I can't seem to think of anything you should do to it. Keep up the good work, I hope to see more!

I love this, and would love to see one with a Pikmin 3 picture at the top. Though there aren't very many good pictures of the game yet to use or go off of.

The banner under the banner is too massive.
It shouldn't take half the page just to know where you are.
Needs the yellow trim under the semi-circle.
It's good. Those are the negative points.

It looks way better. My only problem is the banner you should make it something more general to appeal to most people on this forum, like super smash bros characters.

A picture like this shows that we are a Nintendo Community. And we stay together in these forums. It also appeals to Nintendo fans more than the other picture.

Thank you guys for your feedback. I made some small changes to the Website specifically adding the Forum specific icons, making the "Featured Wii U Game" area smaller, and adding the Yellow line to resemble the Box Art Design more. Like always tell me what you guys think, and I also left the old version for those who didn't see it or tho see the difference.
