Mine is laying down because we don't have enough space between the TV and the TV cabinet. :L

i have it standing for 2 reasons, it looks better imo and i have no room for it to lay down

Originally I had it standing up, but I moved it closer to my TV, so now it's better laying down for me. Otherwise it would block the TV.

Those of you that have the wii u in one position or another due to lack of space should be very careful assuring the console has enough ventilation and won't overheat.

I have mine standing up, but I'm considering making room for it to lay down. It doesn't look as natural standing up as the Wii did.

Mine is laying down. Even if I had to space to put it up, I would still prefer it laying down.

I stand mine up. As far as I'm concerned, I paid for it - part of the price of the Deluxe was probably that stand.
