Already beat it months ago. Amazing game, took me 26-30 hours to 100% it (except for the stamps)

I have a really specific question if anyone knows the answer. Have ALL of the abillites of the respective generations been preserved? The one I'm thinking of in particular is the SMW ability to throw shells upwards. If I remember rightly, that only existed in that generation. They removed it for the more recent games and you could only throw shells left or right.

Throwing shell upwards confirmed.

US overview video... i didn't know you can make your own sound effects and also place sound effects just about anywhere... and some even have a visual representation.
This got revealed today. Really cool.

I've been defending the Wii U and Nintendo since its release, and I still like the console itself.. but the way Nintendo is threating things right now is ridiculous. They were gonig in the right direction, but they totally blew 2015.

8-Bit Mario is obviously for Mario Maker. Animal Crossing amiibo obviously means AC U (not Happy Home because it's a small scaled game)

Thank you. Good to see Nintendo doing a lot right before E3, saving the best stuff for then.

Interesting that Bill says E3 will focus on 2015 releases as well as early 2016. We might see Zelda after all
It's not entirely out of the question indeed, but I'm not betting on it.
I iked this Direct because it means their precious E3 time won't be wasted on games like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or Mario & Sonic.

the attach rate is actually insanely good for Wii U 1st party games
Thread here http://thewiiu.com/t...games-revealed/
There are quite a few people here who don't have a Wii U, or simply bought it for one or two games (SMASH, BAYO, MK8) .
Really impressed with Luigi U's sales. We need more Luigi games.

Not quite, doesn't rule anything out really... maybe not a new 3d mario game on Wii U but maybe a remaster of galaxy(s) or sunshine , wishful thinking of course.
I think they mean they will "reinvent" Mario by the time the new system has been released?

Legit Direct Date/Times,
Rumor stuff below
http://www.reddit.co...ak_that/cpvar3s
It's rumoured for april 1st. This seems pretty legit, but I'm taking it with a grain of salt. It's about time for a New Direct, and they usually air on wednesdays. And yes, this might very well be a April's Fool's Joke.
What doesn't seem legit is the fact that N64 games will be upscaled to 720p and will be made widescreen. That would be a big task for Nintendo.
Pokemonrumbleworld.com has apparently been patented by Nintendo though

What Zelda U needs at this moment is more contrast in the colors, like this:

But it looks amazing already and I'm sure it will possibly be one of the prettiest games ever. WWHD is at this moment one of the best looking adventure games ever IMO, however they could have put more effort into it. Some poly counts are still very average and some textures just look like GC textures with upped resolution. Ultimately, I think SM3DW might be the prettiest Wii U game. It's the best looking 3D platformer I've ever played for sure.
I also want you guys to look at the official, amazingly hi-res screenshots for Zelda U: http://www.nintendo....60.html#Galerie
It just looks unlike any game I've ever seen before and it's hard to spot any flaws. This is what the Wii U was made for.
An open world Zelda doesn't need to be at 60 fps. A solid 30fps is what it will be. Also the drops in Wind Waker, I am pretty sure they were there in the Game Cube version thus trying to remedy those would require a ton of extra work. Most frame drops occur during some sailing portions, and water cannon.
Never experienced framedrops in WWHD, just on the Gamecube.. but I agree that 30fps is sufficient. I'd rather have my game be 1080p at 30fps than 720p at 60fps.

Going even further into the future does not change the series enough, that's why sales will probably decline.
I'm curious to see what Treyarch will be doing, I always think they make the most creative CODs.
I heard Ghosts will be another trilogy, is this true? There obviously will be a second one, but a third one?? The story wasn't that good IMO.. good concept, but poor, POOR execution. It had so much more potential.
