I've found that the best way is to go Metal Gear Rising blade mode on the neck area, with a samurai sword.

 

I was wondering what you guys have found to be the best way to beat an ostrich to death. :3

 

I hope that this helps everyone who's been interested in the idea, but unsure where to start (I remember, I was there once).

Actually, I've found that one of the most reliable methods is to go in with a brass knuckle-duster soaked in gasoline, then using a lighter. It's cheap and affordable, with very little to clean up afterwards.

 

Plus -- and this goes without saying -- you get a free meal.
